The operation started in 1944 when Paul
St.Arnaud purchased 4 heifers and a bull from Zeigler's in Vegreville.
From there the herd grew to the present 150 mature cows both Horned
and Polled.
Jack and Robert, run the cow herd today
as well as farm 2000 acres with their father. The crops consist of Canola,
Wheat and Mixed hay for commercial sales.

The name of Dunrobin Herefords came from the town where we live. It
was changed to Vimy after the War of the Vimy Ridge in France. We have
chosen to keep the name. All the cattle born at St.Arnaud Farms carry
the prefix Dunrobin. St.Arnaud Farms has 2 locations with the main Farm
being just north of Edmonton on Hwy #2 and the second is 6 miles south
of Westlock on Hwy 44. We enjoy our cattle and showing people around so
plan a Stop on your Travel's while in the area.
